Bellingham is conveniently located an hour-and-a-half drive
from Seattle, Washington and one hour from Vancouver, British
Columbia and their multi-modal facility offers train, bus, Alaska,
and San Juan Island ferry service, all in one location. The ferry
terminal and visitor information center are adjacent to the
historic Fairhaven district. With direct ferry service from
Bellingham to Ketchikan, a passport is not required to travel
between Alaska and the Lower 48.
